HP Networking E3800-Series – NOW available at Atlantik Systeme

HP switches with latest HP ProVision ASIC technology

Atlantik Systeme expands its product portfolio with the E3800 switch series of HP Networking. This series is particularly suitable for small and medium enterprises.

The HP E3800 Switch Series is a product family of fully managed Gigabit Ethernet switches. There are 9 switch models are available - 24 ports, 48 ports, 24 ports PoE+, 48 ports PoE+ with either SFP+ or 10GBse-T uplinks and an SFP with 24 ports with 2 SFP+ uplinks. Each of the 4-port stacking modules supports up to 42 Gbps in each direction per port, so that a stacking throughput of up to 336 Gbps is possible.

HP E3800-series switches use latest HP ProVision ASIC technology and combine latest hardware innovations so that they are amongst the industry's most energy-efficient and failsafe switches. The HP E3800 implements HP FlexChassis Mesh technology and provides a Chassis-similar system stability in a flexible, stackable form factor. Up to five switches of the new series can also be summarised to a "fully-meshed" stack in order to increase the system stability.„Until now we focussed on HP solutions for medium sized enterprises. As HP is now strengthening its position with products for small enterprises, we are now willing to also provide customers of small enterprises with HP technology including lifetime warranty", said Ottmar Flach, General Manager of Atlantik Systeme GmbH.

This is no new area of business for Atlantik Systeme GmbH: The company is already providing small and medium-sized enterprises with complete telecommunications solutions.
