Atlantik Systeme, value-added distributor for network components, launch the TransPort® LR54 – Digi’s low cost LTE cellular router is the ideal solution for digital media, self service kiosks, and other remotely managed network applications.

The Digi TransPort LR54 is the new, high performance LTE-Advanced networking platform that provides fast, affordable and reliable Wi-Fi and high-speed cellular LTE in a form factor capable of performing in extended operating temperature ranges. Featuring a software-defined LTE radio, the advanced TransPort router LR54 supports carriers across North America and most European countries and is pre-certified for both the Verizon and AT&T networks.

The TransPort LTE advanced router LR54 is designed from the ground up to provide high-performance processing and memory horsepower to take full advantage of the LTE-A/Cat 6 cellular technology which offers faster speeds, increased capacity and additional bands. In delivering a high-speed, reasonably priced LTE device with low total-cost-of-ownership (TCO), the LR54 is ideally suited for professional network engineers seeking solutions for environments that require uncommon speed and connection integrity.

Each device features an LTE Advanced CAT6 modem with speeds up to 300 Mbps and support for global deployments with a single hardware version, as well as a 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and serial port for console access. The routers include license-free enterprise software features like VPN, firewall and SNMP.

The Wi-Fi variant features dual-band, dual-concurrent 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radios, personal/enterprise security, and multiple SSIDs for maximum range and throughput performance in M2M applications.
